The card is accepted in all Omanoil service stations across the country for purchasing fuel, lubricants and oil change services as well as in the AGCC at all Emarat and Emirates service stations. Emirates have 240 service stations in the UAE. The Ministry of Commerce & Industry will launch a nationwide crackdown against the illegal trade in recycled car tyres after the expiry of deadline requiring garages and tyres shops to rid themselves of recycled or used passenger car tyres. Omani law specifically prohibits any trade in used passenger car tyres on grounds that such tyres whether recycled or retreated can be potentially unsafe. The recycled tyres are only permitted in trucks and heavy vehicles rear axles affixed with visible yellow stickers bearing 'Recycled' in Arabic with details of recycling company and country of origin.
